ugh.......
Don't ever EVER use a third party java script from just any old script site (like javascriptkit.com)!!! There can be malicious spamware in it and if you add it to your blog Blogger will delete your blog. Just like that. No warning. GONE. Trust me...I just learned the hard way. Which seems to be the only way I learn anything. Sigh....
strange brew....
This is June in California? Thunderstroms, hail, lightning strikes and tornado warnings? That was yesterday and today is sunny but still cool. So strange....but I actually love it. Well not the tornado warning and lightning strikes but I'm not a hot weather gal and I'll take this over out 100+ summers anyday. I'll just have to keep stocking up on our allergy meds, lol.
shabby background love....
Love, love the new background I just found at Shabby Blogs (for my FP blog). I liked the one before it too but didn't love it so I kept looking. I just happened to see this floral one and it's perfect. I love the little doodle border against the vintage image. It's a keeper....at least for a few weeks, lol.
tweeting....
I've come to the conclusion that this mini blog of mine is turning out to be my own personal Twitter. Don't know if anyone stops by but I still get a kick out of posting little snippets now and then.
Today I'm rediscovering tea dyeing. I use to tea dye everything...fabric, lace, bags, paper. I love that instant patina you get from dunking something new in a dark bowl of tea. I'm experimenting with a few scraps of fabric I fell in love with. Will see what happens....
And as you can see, my tea dyeing obsession carried over to my FP blog. I decided my new background and banner could use a little bit of antiqueing too.
